The best natural hand is a straight flush. A straight flush is made by having a high ace and four kings or jacks. A straight flush ace can be high or low. The straight flush is considered the most important poker hand.
A royal flush is a flush with a high ace. This is a great hand to make, but it is not as easy to make as it sounds. If you have an ace high straight flush, you can’t wrap around K-A-2-2-3-4.
The high card breaks the tie when multiple people have the same high card. A high card wins a tie when there are two four of a kind with the same rank. A pair of kings isn’t so bad off the deal, but a pair of kings isn’t a great hand either.
